As you may know, Something Jed has decided to call it quits and moved on to to other projects. We want everyone to know that we don't regret anything we've done and will continue to be friends. We would like to take this time to thank the following:
First of all our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, without him we would of never had any of this, Greg and Anna Gilbert for managing, booking shows, promoting, and recording us. Penny, Mel, Blu, Dave, Kristen and everyone at Tremont Music Hall, Amanda and everyone who has ever worked at Liquid Recordz or came out to a show there, The Creative Loafing Music Menu Crew for being so good to us, Chris Peigler, Nicole Vazquez and Erin Lowrance for writing kind words about us, The Original Jedites (Stephanie, Katie and Nichole) for the fan site, pictures, banners, etc., Hopewell Presbyterian Church for letting us use their gym (even though we partied a little harder then they would of liked), and for inviting us back to play the Christmas party, youth group event, Charlie's cousin's going away party and little sister's birthday party (our first show), Everyone at Howren Music, The People who (still) have shows on the green in front of the Davidson Library ( I hear they have some sweet conga bands play these days) , we apologize for the pistol toting punk rockers, the infamous "club" hang loose, what use to be Mars Music (that stage rocked!), Everyone who put together that sweet house party Halloween '02 (1st time the cops came as soon as we stopped playing), everyone who came to Dan's Dad's Wedding that we played!, The Peninsula Clubhouse for being such snots and letting us play our first CD release show there, everyone who helped out with Hopewell High School's Band Bash 1 & 2, whoever put together Grandmapolooza (aka Throw down at Grandma's) , the guys at Ace's Basement for helping us do a DVD shoot, East Lincoln High School for having one sweet par-tay, the twins Genna and Alexa for inviting us to play their birthday party, everyone at The Bassment Jazz Club in Wilkesboro (so sad to hear it closed down!), everyone at Avondale (especially that awesome sound man!), all the kids that support and put together Cafe Cafe!, Tiffany's Place in Wilkesboro, The Guys who invited us out to play that party in what was basically the closet of an abandoned building in Mount Holly (I had know idea so many people could fit in that room and STILL MOSH!....also 2nd time the cops came as soon as we stopped playing), Mr. Piercy for getting us a show at the North Meck vs. Hopewell football game (playing on top of the press box was awesome), Huntersville Baptist Church for giving us one of the best shows of our band's life on a Wednesday!, Jamie Burt for helping us with somethingjed.com during the "Get Ready" era, Andrew Palmer for being awesome, Andrew Webster for awesomely playing us on Complex Radio, Divakar for awesomely playing us on 90 minuets, and Jack at Night for Promoting our show at Tremont on 106.5 during prime time!, Amanda Mcpherson for singing on our two first albums, Seth Haney for playing trumbone on "Ache", Zack Ryals for singing on "Fine China" and Sandi Rosen for playing violin on our 2nd album and playing live with us soooo many times, myspace.com, purevolume.com, soudclick.com, indieriot.com, all the people who wanted us to come play out of town, all the bands we've played with, Hot Vegas, Spaztic Colon, The Rental Kids, Nine Year Plan, The Pitch White (Lie), Cephas, What about Calvin?, Minority Party, Indifferent Voices, The Wicked Truth, Enders Fight, Heartwood, Facade, Old Fashioned (Hamburgers), Hatch, The Residence, Duck and Cover, Even Angles Carry Knives, Till my dying day, Grace your Stereo, Daylight Tragedy, Farva, Everyone's Satellite (aka The Piano Project), The Ray Guns, Five Finger Discount, Redefined, Yamaha Sexxx, Samhien, Drive by Desire, Just for tonight (After Eden), Civility Burns, Puma Reflex, Caustic, Awake in Silence, Lost & Found, Laid Back Jack, Avid God, The Naked Platypus, Emma & Jordan, P-169, One Amazin' Kid, The Paris Centerfold, Tethered, Syndicate Red, Losers in Disguise, Six Gun, Casey Trela, Sweater Weather, Andy Cherry, Roman Adai, Yay Hooray, The Truth is, The Verdict, Pseudo Crisis, Bombshell, Conquering Eddy, 37 Including You, Stimulus, Final Start, Evolemo, Reasons for leaving, IN-v, Firenze, All our biggest fans: Jackie, Mollie, Richard, Terrell, Adam, Tony, Ricky, Shelby, Matt from Stopwatch, the original Vegas boys, the Skankers (Blair, Nick, Joe, David), Dirty Carl, Carter, Will Nyguard (our first!) and to everyone who has ever came to a show, bought a CD, stuck a sticker, wore a t-shirt, printed a flyer with our name on it, made a banner, listened to our music (loved it or hated it)we love you and thanks for being there with us!
